MBA Accreditation
UNYT-IUKB’s MBA programme is offered in Tirana as of September 2004. As of February 27, 2008, UNYT assumed the co-administration of the programme through the Decree No. 256 / 27.02.2008 of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania, and in collaboration with the Institut Universitaire Kurt Bösch (IUKB) in Sion, Switzerland offers a Master’s programme in Business Administration (MBA) leading to a dual degree - IUKB and UNYT (sample diploma). In accordance to Law No. 9741 / 21.05.2007, Article 62 of the Albanian Republic the programme was assessed and accredited by "Order Nr. 161, date 18.03.2010 of the Ministry of Education and Science".
The Institut Universitaire Kurt Bösch (IUKB) was officially recognized by the Swiss Confederation as a University Institute in 1992 in accordance with Article 2 of the Law on Aid for Universities (LAU). Through its postgraduate and continuing education programmes and its research projects, the Institute carries out inter-and-trans-disciplinary exchanges for the study of the social, environmental and cultural characteristics of our society. IUKB’s aim is to help break down academic compartmentalization and transcend the existing divides between the scientific and practical worlds.
Recognized by the Swiss Government
In Switzerland, the Universities and the University Institutes placed under the responsibilities of the cantons, are given a federal recognition. The Swiss Government granted this recognition to the IUKB in November 11, 1992.
