EVALUATION:

Final Exam:	30%	(No make-up exam without valid excuse)
Midterm Exam:	30%	(No make-up exam without valid excuse)
Paper(s) (Written Assignments):	20%	(Papers are due the week before the final exam and should be between 500 and 1000 words typed. Papers of fewer than 500 words will be dismissed.)
Class participation:	20%	(It requires preparation by students before coming to the class)

NOTES:

It is imperative that students should do the assigned reading at home in preparation for the class. Otherwise understanding and participation in discussion would be difficult.
Where it is indicated class time is extended, e.g. to 4 hrs, to accommodate learning material. Class attendance will be taken.
Attempts will be made to organize one or two field trips (visits) to organizations based in Tirana. These field trips will be on a working Monday as no other day is available.
